REPORT
OF THE "COLDWINNER"
EXTREME COLD RESISTING TESTS
Canada - QUEBEC 21/25 February 2001
INTRODUCTION
The
COLDWINNER
is a technical thermo-regulating fabric, and that is why
this fabric has been recently patented.
The
CCOLDWINNER
has been made for both sportsmen – sportswomen and the general
public in order to enable a comfortable evolution avoiding
all thermal shocks. Besides, the fabric does not develop
any bacteria and therefore any bad smell.
The
COLDWINNER
has been invented from a an idea, which has needed the association
of two different materials : le COMFORTO® et le THERMOLITE
BASE®. Having only material has enabled to improve the
fabric performances.
The COLDWINNER
extreme cold resisting tests were
carried out in the QUEBEC region, Canada. Three people were
representing three different social categories: Mr Gérard
DAILLY - " The Every-day-life Man ", Mr Christian ZINGLE
- " Professional Sportsman " and Miss Joyce EICHWALD - "
Young Lady ". Tests were implemented through various sport
activities requiring a more or less intense physical effort
from 21st to 25th February 2001. Temperatures were fluctuating
outside from -4°C. to -22°C. - considering the more or less
high wind factor which could bring those temperatures up
to -30°C. - and inside up to +25°C. >>
