Carrying-out & Results
In
the morning of the two test days, the three testers took
their respective body temperature before any activity, any
physical effort and cold resistance.
*
The first tests in alpine ski were carried on 21.02.2001
in the afternoon between 3.00pm and 4.45p, i.e. for 1h45mn.
*
The second tests in alpine ski were implemented out
on 23.02.01 all day long between 10.15am and 3.45pm. The
" Young Lady " was just wearing waterproof
non-breathable trousers.
After
all tests done, the three testers measured their own body
temperature to note the COLDWINNER protection effect
against cold, and expressed their remarks.

During
the first tests in alpine ski, all testers could go through
the whole activity "light" without having to wear
numerous layers of garments, and without being harassed
by cold, except for the " Every-day-life Man "
and the " Young Lady " faces
as they were not protected with hoods in COLDWINNER
– heavy version. The difficulty of the ski slopes required
a more or less intense physical effort. All testers did
sweat a lot during the activity, however they did remain
kept warm and dry despite the weather conditions.
The
second tests were carried out partly with the Canadian television
– TVA, which was shooting the three testers while skiing.
All testers were skiing with their respective jackets open
with an outside temperature of –15° C. They did not feel
any kind of cold aggression or any other unpleasant feeling.
